Vātāyanāsana

Technique:
  • Stand in Tāḍāsana.
  • Bend the left leg at the knee and place the left foot at the root of the right thigh.
  • Bend the right leg at the knee and place the left knee on the ground by the side of the right foot.Bend the elbows and raise the arms to the chest level.  Rest the right elbow on the front of the left upper arm near the elbow joint then move the right hand back to the right and left hand back to the left and join the palms, adapt Namaskara Mudra.  Now both the arms are twisted around each other.
  • Hold the pose with normal breathing for about 30sec.
  • Release the arms, slowly stand up and straighten the left leg.
  • Repeat the same on the other side with reverse crossing of arms for the same length of time.
  • Relax in Sitila Tāḍāsana.
