Kukkutāsana

Sit in Padmāsana.

Insert the right hand in between the left foot and right calf.
Insert the left hand in between the right foot and left calf.

Pull the hands out and place the palms on the ground.
Keep the palms slightly apart.
Inhale, lift the trunk off the floor.
Hold the position with normal breathing for about 20 sec.
Exhale, bring the body back to the ground.
Pull the arms out, release the legs and stretch them out.
Repeat the same with reverse crossing of legs for the same length of time.
